Flax seed oil is one of the most nutritional oil containing omega-3 fats and full of lignans. This oil contains compounds such as phytoestrognes which benefits women during pre and post menopausal conditions. It helps in balancing the hormonal changes and may reduce risks of heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The nutritional value of flaxseed oil is not the same as entire flaxseeds. It remains, however, a good source of ALA, an omega-3 fatty acid. It is fairly simple to incorporate flaxseed oil to a healthy diet.
